Who we are
JDC Partners ("we", "our", or "us") provides personal IT consulting services to individuals and families. This policy explains how we handle personal information you provide through our website at jdc-partners.com.
What we collect
When you submit our contact form, we collect:
- Your name, email address, and (optionally) phone number
- Your location, time zone, and company affiliation (if provided)
- Your preferred consultation date and time
- How you were referred to us (if you tell us)
- Any notes or context you choose to share
Our web server also automatically receives standard technical data (IP address, user agent, request timestamps) for the purpose of operating the site securely. This data is retained briefly for security analysis and is not used for tracking or analytics.
How we use your information
We use the information you submit through the contact form solely to:
- Respond to your enquiry and arrange a consultation
- Tailor our response to your stated needs
- Maintain a record of our correspondence with you
We do not use your information for marketing, profiling, or any automated decision-making. We do not sell or share it with third parties for their own purposes.
Legal basis (UK GDPR / EU GDPR)
Our lawful basis for processing your information is your explicit consent, given by submitting the contact form. You may withdraw your consent at any time by emailing liaison@jdc-partners.com. We will delete your information promptly upon request, subject to any legitimate retention requirements (for example, where we are required to keep records of professional correspondence).
Who has access to your information
Only JDC Partners' principals and authorised correspondents see the contents of your submissions. Our email infrastructure is provided by Microsoft 365 (for receiving and storing mail) and Resend (for transactional delivery of the form notification). Both providers act as data processors under our instructions and contractually commit to GDPR-compliant data handling.
How long we keep it
We retain your enquiry for as long as our professional relationship continues, or for two years from the date of your submission if no engagement results. After that, we delete it.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, port, or delete your personal information; to object to or restrict our processing of it; and to receive a copy of it in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email liaison@jdc-partners.com.
If you believe we have not handled your data appropriately, you may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, or to your local data protection authority.
Security
Our website enforces HTTPS, modern TLS (1.2 and 1.3), and a strict Content Security Policy. Form submissions travel over encrypted channels. We follow OWASP-aligned application security practices and apply CIS-aligned hardening to our hosting environment.
Cookies and tracking
This website uses no cookies, no analytics, and no third-party tracking. Your visit is not profiled.
Updates to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected here; we do not maintain a separate notification system as we do not retain a marketing list.
